Security glass is designed to provide protection for businesses, homes, government properties and other facilities by withstanding security breaches caused by intruders.
Laminated glass products are typically used for security. They are made using two or more glass panes that are joined together with a polycomposite laminate. This ensures that even if the glass is broken in an attack, it will largely remain adhered to the plastic laminate.
This differs from toughened (tempered) glass which is strengthened using a complex heating and cooling process. Toughened (tempered) glass shatters when it’s broken, allowing easy entry for an intruder, which makes it inadequate as a security glass option.

Our custom laminated range of security glass is available in a large number of different compositions for protection from deliberate attack ranging from low level smash and grab to ballistic and blast protection. Toughened (tempered), annealed, and poly-composite layers, with varying glass and inter-layer thickness all provide the perfectly specified solution. In many cases, curved options are available too.
Security Screen glass from high grade laminates providing added security in retail & residential environments & other public spaces. BanditShield and BanditShield Ultra are laminated security screen glass products that make it both challenging and time consuming to smash through.
ArmourShield ultra-high grade laminated armoured glass for protection of staff & property. ArmourShield is a poly-composite glass laminate that maintains the appearance of normal glass while offering significant protection from deliberate, sustained attack making it ideal for armoured glass requirements. Attack weapons simply bounce off the armoured glass. In the event the window glass surface is compromised, the tough inner-core of the poly-composite remains un-penetrated protecting individuals and property inside.
Bullet resistant glass: ultra high grade security laminate for definitive protection from ballistic weapons. AmmoShield bullet resistant glass encapsulates exceedingly high velocity projectiles without allowing penetration through the armoured panel, making it ideal for use in areas of high risk or where the threat of fire-arms is prevalent.
BlastShield is a multi-layered combination of incredibly robust blast resistant glass and poly-composite panels laminated together in varying thicknesses. The unique design allows the flexibility of the interlayer and the adhesion between layers of laminated glass to continue to resist blast after the glass layers fracture, providing protection from significantly higher blast loads compared to monolithic glass.
CareShield is the safe and reliable secure healthcare glass solution for use in mental health facilities protecting patients from self-harm and providing a safe working environment for staff. The poly-composite make up removes the possibility of patients harming themselves with glass if a window is broken. Families are assured their loved ones are in a safe zone where self-harm from broken glass is all but eliminated.
