Gladstone Electrolyser Manufacturing (GEM), Australia’s first multi-gigawatt electrolyser manufacturing facility, is paving the way for global hydrogen production. Spanning 4 hectares on the outskirts of Gladstone, the facility is located in Cyclone Region C, a zone prone to severe weather events. To prioritize safety and ensure uninterrupted operations, GEM has incorporated StormShield® Cyclone Resistant Glass into its infrastructure. This advanced glass solution provides exceptional protection for personnel and safeguards this critical green energy manufacturing hub, highlighting the facility’s commitment to resilience and innovation.
