Big Fish - Expedition Vessel Marine Grade Glass
Big Fish was built by McMullen and Wing and launched in 2010. She is a 45m expedition vessel that has been built to go to parts of the world no other yachts dare to, and the first of her kind to use virtually indestructible stone decking. DuraShield Marine® windows with their superior laminating technology were ideal for such a brief.
Glasshape® provided a range of different glass solutions for the interior also including non-reflective surfaces to mitigate any potential reflections from large format TV screens in the cabins and LED lit glass treads for the interior stairwell. The galley enjoys unusually large hull windows significantly improving the working conditions for this part of the vessel for the chef and his crew.
The design also includes a number of fully blacked out DuraShield Marine® windows giving the yacht’s hull an impressive glass wall appearance.
