Introducing the new 10mm EnergyTech Low E Glass
Glasshape now stock 10mm clear Energytech High performance Low E glass. This enables architects to have their pie and eat it!
No longer do high performance thermal rated curved glass windows have to be double glazed with centre mullions joints. Simply use 10mm Energytech and have a clear silicone joint. 10mm EnergyTech can be curved for thermal-rated continuous picture windows without the mullion joints required for double glazing.
The 10mm EnergyTech carries a U-value of 3.6, and can be used as a structural component of an exterior wall. It offers very good light transmission, and the low-emissivity coating contributes to significantly lower energy consumption and therefore, low CO2 emissions.

Structural balustrades require the glass to take handrail loads. They must use toughened safety glass and the loading on the glass is determined by NZS4203 or AS/NZS 1170.
We manufacture the widest curved glass panels in Australasia at up to 2440mm wide! Thicknesses range from 6-19mm in single panels of glass.
We can also laminate 2 panels of toughened glass together to add extra strength when required or to comply with especially heavy loading requirements.

Curved Toughened Frameless Doors
With the expertise of Glasshape's staff and manufacturing facility, curved toughened frameless doors are now a viable option for use in classy entrance ways or feature office partitions.
With the use of modern stainless steel fittings, hinging and sliding elements such as doors can now be made in curved toughened glass and used as a structural component in a building.
No longer is a curved feature wall broken by a flat doorway. The molding of a bent glass door flows on smoothly around the curve,
giving the feeling of space, light and freedom.

Glass Floors
Glasshape have the technology, experience and know how to create glass floor panels and stair treads which can be used as a structural element strong
enough to withstand heavy traffic conditions. In situations where floors and stair treads may require slip resistance, specially applied grip paint
can be combined with patterns to produce amazing visual effects on the upper glass surface.
Glasshape recommend the use of a sacrificial top toughened glass layer to protect the more expensive multi-ply laminate below and allow for
economic replacement should it become damaged over time from constant foot traffic.
Glasshape also have the ability to incorporate tiny LED lights inside the laminate to create an amazing 'star light' effect, or to illuminate the stair treads at night.
Glasshape slip-resistant glass floor surfaces have been tested to meet the requirements of AS/NZS 3661.1:1993.
